Working hours
Since COVID-19 is beyond a student’s control, the IRCC has temporarily allowed international students who were eligible to work on or off-campus while studying to work for more than 20 hours a week until August 31, 2020. This also applies to those study-permit candidates who are currently working in the following essential service industries:
• Heath
• Information and Communication Technologies
• Finance
• Transportation
• Energy and Utilities
• Food
• Water
• Safety
• Government
• Manufacturing
