Self-Employed Persons Program

Candidates who have relevant experience in athletics and cultural activities will be eligible for the Canadian PR visa under this program. Applicants need to meet the minimum eligibility requirements and simultaneously obtain the passing mark under the program’s selection criteria.  Under this program, eligible applicants must be able to show they have sufficient funds to finance their business and settle in Canada with their dependents (Spouse/common law partner and children). There is no requirement for regulated minimum net worth.

Minimum Eligibility requirements

In order to be considered as a self-employed person, the latter must have at least 2 years of self-employed experience in a cultural or athletic activity as defined by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). 

Selection Criteria
The minimum passing score is 35 points out of 100.
