Investor

To be entitled to apply under the Investor Program category, the following criterion has to be fulfilled: –

Target to stay in Québec and sign an accord to invest CAD$800,000 with a monetary mediator (Broker or Trust Company) authorized to participate in this program. This asset will be for a five-year term and is guaranteed by the government of Québec. At the end of this period, the monetary mediator will repay the applicant the full amount without paying any interest.

Net possessions of at least CAD$1,600,000 obtained legally, which excludes donation received within six months before the date of application.

Experience in management for at least two years in the five years preceding the application for a selection certificate, relating to planning, management and control of financial resources and human or material resources, in legal farming, commercial or industrial business.

Age, nature and duration of professional training and language skills are also considered.
