Issuance of 699 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) under the Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream

On June 03, 2020, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 699 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with work experience who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream.

The OINP targeted Express Entry candidates with a CRS score between 358 and 500, and work experience in one of the following NOC codes:

Ontario is helping to make it easier for businesses in certain sectors to recruit top talent from around the world through the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCPS). The OINP engage with stakeholders across the Province through a survey and face to face consultations in order to ensure that this initiative meets the needs of Ontario employers. The latter give their feedback on their current labor needs and hiring practices which also include their need for specific communication technology skills and occupations.

Ontario Nomination target for the year 2020

It should be pointed out that the Government of Canada has issued to Ontario its 2020 nomination allocation amounting to a total of 7,600. This year 7,350 candidates under NOC skill level  O, A, B can be nominated while the other 250 nominations will be specifically for temporary foreign workers in intermediate skilled occupations or NOC skill level C.
