Express Entry 165th Draw held on October 14, 2020

A total of 4,500 ITAs were issued to Express Entry candidates on October 14, 2020. The minimum CRS scores were of 471, same as the previous Express Entry draw held on September 30, 2020 in which 4,200 candidates received their ITAs.

Eligible candidates are ranked using a point-based system known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) in the Express Entry pool. Those candidates with the highest CRS scores are then selected from the pool and invited to apply for a Canadian Permanent Residence (PR).

NOTE: The numbers in this table reflect the total number of people in the pool overall, a few days before an invitation round. The score distribution may change as people submit new profiles and other profiles expire.

This October 14, 2020, Express Entry draw is the 11th draw of 2020 (Click here to see draw history). A tie-breaking rule was used in this draw. Candidates who submitted their profile before September 01, 2020, at 12:11:23 UTC were issued Invitation To Apply (ITAs). If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

The total ITAs so far this year amount to 82,850 as illustrated by the graph below.
