British Columbia Tech Pilot draw August 25, 2020

Periodically, the highest-scoring registrants in each category are invited to apply to the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). The successful applicants are then nominated to apply to Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for PR.

Under the BC PNP Tech Pilot, qualified applicants with valid job offers in the following key technology occupations are issued weekly invitations:

The tech pilot draw held on August 25, 2020 issued 72 invitations to candidates in the Skilled Worker and International Graduates subcategories in both Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration stream.

Note: Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their CRS score.

The number and frequency of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) is based on annual nomination allocations from the Canadian federal government (IRCC) and the ability to process applications in a timely way.
