Provincial Nominees

Provincial Nominees

People who immigrate to Canada under the Provincial Nominee Program have the skill set, qualification and work experience needed to generate economic contribution/immediate absorbability in the province or territory that nominates them. They are ready to establish themselves successfully as permanent residents in Canada.

To be eligible to apply under the Provincial Nominee Program, applicants must have nomination by a Canadian province or territory.

Most provinces in Canada have an accord with the Government of Canada that allows them to propose immigrants who want to settle in their respective province. If you are willing to migrate to Canada as a provincial nominee, you have to apply to the province of your choice and complete its provincial nomination process. The province will consider your application based on the immigration needs and your bonafide purpose to settle there.
